1. Acceptance & Scope
These Terms govern your use of Station Logic's pixel attendance board and related avatar features (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you use the Service for a business, you represent you are authorized to bind that business.
2. Accounts & Security
Keep your credentials secure and ensure your account information is accurate. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
3. Service Description
The Service lets you record team attendance states (present, late, called out, off today), generate pixel avatars from text descriptions, and view basic attendance history. Features may evolve, and some items may be in beta or limited release.
4. Customer Data & Consents
You control the data you input (workspace, team member info, attendance, avatar prompts/images). You must obtain any required notices or consents from team members before adding their data and ensure it is lawful and accurate. We process this data to provide the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or infringe others' rights
- Submit harmful, offensive, or IP-infringing content (including avatar prompts)
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access others' data
- Reverse engineer or misuse the Service
6. Fees, Billing, Cancellations
Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence you select. Taxes may apply. Price or plan changes will be communicated before they take effect. If a payment fails, access may be suspended until resolved.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are at our discretion.
7. Data Ownership & License
You own your workspace data, attendance records, prompts, and generated avatars. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host and process that data to provide the Service. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the Service.
Station Logic owns the Service and its intellectual property. We provide you a revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business use.
8. Privacy & Processors
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data and lists key subprocessors (e.g., Supabase for auth/data, Stripe for payments, optional PostHog analytics, and the current avatar generation provider). By using the Service, you consent to that processing.
9. Availability & Support
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Downtime may occur for maintenance, provider outages, or events outside our control. Support is via email at hello@stationlogic.app.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF AI/AVATAR OUTPUTS. Third-party services we rely on are outside our control.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, unlawful use, or risk to the Service. You may terminate by canceling your plan and requesting account deletion. Upon termination, we may delete your data after a short retention period unless required by law to keep it.
13. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. If you continue using the Service after updates take effect, you accept the changes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Venue for disputes will be in that jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief for misuse of intellectual property or confidential information.
